Kevin Gibson was good enough to send us pix and text about the two bands which he felt made the most impression at Rock In The Bog this year.
Scott Free are a young, immensely talented band based in Lewes who opened the festival on the Friday evening. They played a number of really memorable abd strong originals as well as some amazing classic rock covers including a barnstorming version of Floyd’s ‘Comfortably Numb’. They impressed everyone with how tight they were and their immense musical talent.
Liquid Fuse are a Brighton – based band that were the highlight on the Saturday. They have a distinctly Led Zeppy sound but played all original material apart from one cover of, you’ve guessed it, Led Zep’s ‘Rock & Roll’. Very together, very strong, very exciting with a superb drummer who appeared to be totally blind and had to be guided to his kit with his white stick. Amazing.
